Part Time RN Supervisor (Home Care) – 20 hrs/wk

Duties

• Ensure that home care clients receive the highest quality care through ongoing assessment.
• Supervise the implementation of the physician’s plan of treatment.
• Develop a plan of care and evaluate client needs and employee performance.
• (Optional) Conduct training classes for new staff, meeting NYS DOH training requirements.
• Perform med setups for clients.
• Conduct insurance assessments.

Qualifications

• Must be a Registered Nurse currently licensed in New York State with at least one year experience as an RN (recent experience preferred).
• One year of home care RN experience preferred, either with a licensed or certified home care agency or hospice.
• At least six months of supervisory experience is preferred.
• Current certification in Cardiopulmonary Respiration (CPR) is required.
• Knowledge of home health regulations is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to maintain a flexible schedule are necessary.
• Must meet health requirements.
• A reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license are required.

$32.50 – $35 / hour (depending on home care experience)
