RN - Stepdown - Weekend Nights

Key Duties

• Performing age-appropriate assessments and reassessments, documenting findings accurately.
• Developing and evaluating individualized care plans based on assessments, diagnoses, lab data, and physician orders.
• Administering medications, monitoring IV fluids, and coordinating patient care with the healthcare team.
• Providing patient and family education, discharge planning, and ensuring safety protocols are followed.
• Recognizing changes in patient condition and taking appropriate nursing actions.
• Providing specialized care such as restraint management, pain control, and abuse assessment.
• Adhering to safety, infection control, and professional practice standards.
• Engaging in performance improvement, evidence-based practice, and maintaining current licensure and certifications.
• Promoting excellent service, effective communication, teamwork, and a respectful environment.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the applicable state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Strong clinical skills, professionalism, and ability to adapt to changing demands.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient-centered care skills.
• Accountability, respect, and a commitment to delivering high-quality, compassionate care in a safe and collaborative environment.
