Registered Nurse - Stepdown (Nights)

About the Role

Utilize the nursing process to deliver patient care, ensuring professional accountability and evaluating the effectiveness of care provided by others. Coordinate patient care with various departments while maintaining patient rights and confidentiality. Perform duties aligned with organizational mission, values, and standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to a patient population with higher acuity cardiac and respiratory conditions on an 18-bed stepdown unit with a 6:1 nurse-to-patient ratio.
• Assess patient needs, monitor progress, and collaborate with team members to ensure optimal outcomes.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate's, Diploma, or BSN).
• Current RN licensure in the state or compact licensure.
• American Heart Association Healthcare Provider certification or completion within probation.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required or obtained within 90 days of hire.
