About the role
Provides patient care utilizing the nursing process, ensuring professional accountability and maintaining patient rights and confidentiality.
Unit details
Works in an 18-bed Stepdown unit with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 6:1, primarily caring for higher acuity cardiac and respiratory patients.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care
- Evaluate care effectiveness and outcomes
- Coordinate patient care with other departments
- Maintain adherence to organizational standards and values
- Ensure compliance with licensing and certification requirements
Qualifications
- Graduation from a nursing program (Associate's, Diploma, or BSN)
- Current RN license
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification
- American Heart Association Healthcare Provider card
