Registered Nurse - Stepdown (Nights)

Role: Provides patient care utilizing the nursing process, ensuring professional accountability and maintaining patient rights and confidentiality. Responsibilities: Evaluates care effectiveness, coordinates patient care with other departments, and maintains adherence to organizational standards and values. Unit Details: Works in an 18-bed Stepdown unit with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 6:1, primarily caring for higher acuity cardiac and respiratory patients. Qualifications: Must have graduated from a nursing program (Associate’s, Diploma, or BSN), hold a current RN license, and possess or obtain certifications such as BLS, ACLS, and American Heart Association Healthcare Provider card. Skills: Strong clinical assessment, communication, and coordination skills; ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
