About the Role
Provide patient care utilizing the nursing process, ensuring professional accountability and evaluating care effectiveness. Coordinate patient care with other departments, maintain patient rights and confidentiality, and align duties with organizational standards.
This position is in a stepdown unit with 18 beds, a 6:1 nurse-to-patient ratio, and a focus on higher acuity cardiac and respiratory patients.
Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program (Associate's, Diploma, or BSN)
- Current RN licensure
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and American Heart Association Healthcare Provider card (must be obtained within specified periods if not already held)
