Position Overview

Department: Medical Intensive Care Unit
Work Location: UAB St. Vincent's East, Trussville
Schedule: Full-Time Nights (7pm-7am) or PRN Nights

Role And Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care following organizational policies and protocols
• Implement, monitor, and communicate patient care plans
• Cookordinate multidisciplinary care and serve as primary contact for patient needs
• Follow physician and nursing orders accurately
• Assist with discharge planning in collaboration with healthcare team

Qualifications And Skills

• Licensed Registered Nurse with current Alabama licensure
• CPR (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire
• Advanced Life Support (ACLS) certification within 6 months of hire
• Diploma from an accredited nursing school
