About the Role
Provide direct nursing care for adult and geriatric patients with complex medical needs in a 12-bed MICU. Responsible for implementing and monitoring patient care plans, recording patient conditions, and communicating effectively. Serve as the primary coordinator for multidisciplinary team efforts, follow physician and nursing orders, and assist with discharge planning.
Schedule
Full-Time Nights (7pm-7am)
Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care
- Coordinate interdisciplinary efforts for patient well-being
- Adhere to organizational policies and physician directives
- Participate in discharge planning and patient assessments
Requirements
- Active RN licensure from the Alabama Board of Nursing
- Diploma from an accredited nursing program
Qualifications
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of hire
- Advanced Life Support (ACLS) certification within 180 days of hire
