What You Will Work
- Work .75 FTE – 60 hours every two weeks
- 12-hour night shifts (6:30pm-7:00am)
- Every other weekend and two holidays per calendar year
- Provide hands on care delivering the same high level of care to all patents, high and low risk
- Work closely with obstetricians, midwives and RN’s in a collaborative environment
What You Will Need
- Minimum of an Associate Degree in Nursing
- RN licensure to work in the state of Wisconsin
- BLS for healthcare providers
- RN experience preferred

About the Role
Emplify Health by Gundersen is seeking exceptional RN’s to join our dedicated and passionate Labor and Delivery team in the beautiful coulee region of La Crosse, Wisconsin.
As the only high-risk peripartum unit in the region, Labor & Delivery provides cutting-edge evidence-based care to pregnant, laboring, and post-partum patients in a collaborative, lively, dynamic environment.
Through strong professional relationships and top-notch teamwork, the Labor & Delivery team works hard to provide individualized care for pregnant persons and their chosen support/families as they navigate the most medically acute portions of their pregnancy and birth journeys.
Responsibilities
- Care for over 1,800 delivers per year, and twice as many triage/antepartum patients
- Utilize 7 labor rooms, 4 triage rooms, and 2 ORs to care for patients
- Offer person-centered coping support, and education regardless of labor course or delivery method
- Collaborate with obstetricians, midwives and RN’s in a supportive environment
Requirements
- Minimum of an Associate Degree in Nursing
