RN, Registered Nurse | Labor and Delivery

About the role

Gundersen Health System is seeking exceptional RN’s to join their dedicated and passionate Labor and Delivery team in La Crosse, Wisconsin. The unit provides cutting-edge evidence-based care to over 1,800 deliveries per year, with a focus on acute perinatal care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-level care to all patients, regardless of risk level
• Collaborate with obstetricians, midwives, and other RNs in a supportive environment
• Offer person-centered coping support and education during labor and delivery
• Utilize a variety of support methods, from low-intervention to high-intervention

Requirements

• Minimum of an Associate Degree in Nursing
• RN licensure to work in the state of Wisconsin
• BLS for healthcare providers
• RN experience preferred

• Strong professional relationships and teamwork skills
• Ability to provide high-touch/low-intervention and high-acuity/high-intervention care
• Person-centered approach to patient care

• Knowledge of evidence-based perinatal care

Benefits

• Starting pay of $38.96/hr and up, based on experience

Schedule

• Scheduled Weekly Hours: 36
• Full-time; 0.9 FTE – 72 hours every two weeks
• 12-hour night shifts (6:30pm-7:00am)
• Every other weekend and two holidays per calendar year
