Summary

The Cardiovascular Operating Room RN responsibilities include:

• RN independently cares for a sub-specialty group of patients consistently using the nursing process and clinical standards
• RN delegates appropriate patient care activities to other members of the health care team
• RN is responsible for professional accountability and development according to best practice standards set forth by a nationally recognized specialty organization
• RN is also performs the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned

Minimum Qualifications

• A minimum of two years of experience as an RN
• At least 1 year RN experience in the Operating Room for consideration
• Clinical skills appropriate to position
• Interpersonal skills
• Certifications And Licensures: BLS (Basic Life Support), RN (Registered Nurse), ACLS (Cardiovascular) if required by department
• Preferred Nurse Specialty (CNOR)

Education

• Associate's Nursing or Diploma Nursing
• PREFERRED: Bachelor's Nursing

• Facility BayCare Health System, Surgery Cardiovascular-WHH
• Location: Winter Haven

• Shift Hours: 8 hrs
• Shift: Shift 1
• Shift 1 = Days, 2 = Evenings, 3 = Nights, 4 = Varies
• Weekend Work: Occasional
