Registered Nurse - CVOR - Days

About the Role

This role involves delivering professional nursing care in the operative setting for patients undergoing surgical or invasive procedures within the Surgery, CVOR department.

Responsibilities

• Perform scrub functions, including handling instruments and supplies.
• Conduct circulating duties such as monitoring and recording patient conditions.
• Manage overall nursing care before, during, and after procedures.
• Assist surgeons with tasks like hemostasis, suturing, and patient positioning.
• Prepare operating rooms and equipment.

Requirements

• Nursing license with licensure from the Alabama Board of Nursing.
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire.
• Advanced Life Support certification within 6 months of hire.
• Prior scrub experience preferred.
