Position Overview Provides professional nursing care in the operative setting for patients undergoing surgical or invasive procedures.Performs scrub functions such as handling instruments and supplies.Handles circulating duties including monitoring patient condition, recording, and managing overall nursing care before, during, and after procedures.Assists physicians with surgical tasks like hemostasis, suturing, wound exposure, and patient positioning.Prepares operating rooms, instruments, and equipment for surgeries. Qualifications And Skills Licensure as a Registered Nurse from the Alabama Board of Nursing.BLS certification within 30 days and Advanced Life Support within 6 months of hire.Diploma from an accredited nursing school.Preferred scrub experience.
