Role Overview

Provides professional nursing care within an interdisciplinary team, applying the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care to ensure safety and optimal outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess patient status through interviews, observations, and physical exams.
• Develop individualized care plans collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare team.
• Use evidence-based practices and protocols to deliver care and achieve expected outcomes.
• Perform bedside lab testing and troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Document patient progress, modify care plans as needed, and ensure compliance with policies and safety standards.
• Cook up interdisciplinary care, advocate for patients, and communicate effectively with team members.
• Educate patients and families, adapting teaching strategies to meet their needs.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, data analysis, and process enhancements.
• Prioritize tasks, manage interruptions, and utilize team resources efficiently.

Qualifications & Skills

• Active RN license and BLS certification.
• Diploma in Nursing or equivalent.
• Strong assessment, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Tech-savvy with technical knowledge of medical equipment and ability to troubleshoot.
• Commitment to evidence-based practice and patient safety.
