Responsibilities
- Assessing patient status via interview, observation, and physical exams.
- Developing individualized care plans collaboratively with patients, families, and team members.
- Implementing interventions to achieve expected outcomes and evaluating patient progress continuously.
- Documenting care and patient responses accurately.
- Operating and troubleshooting medical equipment, performing bedside lab tests, and ensuring quality control.
- Sharing clinical knowledge informally and providing patient education tailored to age and comprehension levels.
- Cooking interdisciplinary care, prioritizing tasks, and advocating for patients when necessary.
- Promoting high-quality, evidence-based care aligned with safety standards and quality initiatives.
- Participating in process improvements, performance initiatives, and team collaboration to enhance patient satisfaction and safety.
- Providing effective communication, shift handovers, and responding promptly to patient and family needs.
Qualifications & Skills
- Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days.
- Educational requirements include a Nursing Diploma or College Diploma in Nursing.
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively within a team, adapt teaching strategies, and prioritize patient safety.
