About the role

The Program Manager – Nursing for the OB/GYN Menopause Center is responsible for the operational, clinical, and strategic management of menopause and midlife women’s health services within the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership to nursing and interdisciplinary staff while ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care for individuals experiencing perimenopause, menopause, and related health conditions.
  • Help connect patients with providers and resources they may need.
  • Comprehensively assess patients’ concerns/needs related to menopause at pivot medical visits across the continuum, including barriers to care, fears and lack of understanding.
  • Facilitate timely coordination of appointments, tests and procedures and communicate any concerns to the appropriate providers.
  • Develop assessment tools, guidelines, pathways and algorithms across the continuum of care of all disciplines.
  • Develop support groups and education programs for patients, their families and/or caregivers.
  • Provide education, resources, community offerings and other programs that can support the patient, families and/or caregivers as needed.
  • Participate in performance improvement activities to enhance the patient, family and/or caregivers experience across the spectrum.
  • Be the conduit between the patients and providers/services.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
  • Master’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Public Health, or related field preferred.
  • Certification in Women’s Health, Nurse Leadership, or Menopause Management preferred.
  • BLS Required within 6 months of hire.
  • Minimum 5 years of nursing experience in women’s health, OB/GYN, or ambulatory care.
  • Minimum 2 years of leadership or program management experience preferred.
  • Experience in menopause care, hormone therapy management, or midlife women’s health strongly preferred.
  • Experience with quality improvement, care coordination, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
