About the role
The Nurse Practitioner functions as a collaborative member of the health care team in the delivery of comprehensive health and health maintenance to patients in ambulatory settings. The Nurse Practitioner provides outpatient comprehensive women's health care services.
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive health and health maintenance services to patients in ambulatory settings.
- Provide outpatient comprehensive women's health care services.
Requirements
- Education: For Certification, The Requirements For Education Are Applicants who graduated on or after October 1, 1998, must have completed requirements for a Master's degree or Post- Master's degree certification.
- Experience: Three to five years of experience preferred.
- Certification/Licensure: Current certificate issued by ANCC and/or AANP or eligible, Active Florida license required, WHNP licensed preferred, DEA license preferred, BLS certification required.
Qualifications
- Education: Graduates from either a certificate or currently closed program should submit supporting documentation that demonstrates program compliance with Board guidelines.
Skills
- Commitment and ability to keep up to date with scientific and technological developments/literature.
- Able to work flexible hours as assigned.
- Able to work at other CHC locations as assigned.
