About the Role

Provides direct patient care in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU), utilizing advanced nursing skills within a technically complex environment. Emphasizes evidence-based practice, patient safety, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to achieve optimal outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Deliver top-of-scope nursing care following the nursing process.
• Precept and mentor new healthcare staff and students.
• Support a culture of safety, quality, and continuous learning.
• Participate in specialty education and competency validation supported by clinical educators.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program and licensed as an RN.
• Minimum six months of ICU or PCU nursing experience or completion of a fellowship program.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications through recognized organizations.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills.
