RN Patient Flow Coordinator, Full Time, Night shift

Functions

• Oversight and optimization of patient movement throughout the hospital
• Ensuring safe, efficient, and timely transitions of care
• Collaboration with nursing units, providers, case management, bed management, the ED, procedural areas, and ancillary departments
• Reduction of bottlenecks, improvement of throughput, and maintenance of appropriate capacity
• Facilitation of admissions, discharges, and transfers

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in South Carolina
• Two to three years of hospital clinical nursing experience in designated practice area
• CPR within one month of employment

Preferred

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Bachelor's degree in a health-related field
• Practice experience in Critical Care, Emergency Care, or Surgical Care
• National certification
