RN Emergency Flow Coordinator, Night Shift

Emergency Dept Flow Coordinator - Registered Nurse Seeking a full-time RN to oversee patient flow in a busy 11-bed Emergency Department with approximately 15,000 yearly visits, serving adult and pediatric patients. Key responsibilities include directing team members on patient prioritization, facilitating communication with providers, coordinating admissions, transfers, and patient placement, and monitoring room availability and departmental processes. The role involves staffing management, reassigning staff, providing clinical care when needed, and implementing protocols during high census periods. The coordinator ensures quality standards by tracking performance metrics, addressing delays, and contributing to process improvements. Ideal candidates possess strong clinical knowledge, leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to remain composed under pressure. Qualifications include a nursing degree, at least one year of ED experience, and current licensure & certifications (BLS, ACLS, PALS). Preferred certifications include CEN, ENPC, TNCC, or CPEN.
