About the role
The NOC ER Registered Nurse (RN) supports the patient care cycle by providing compassionate patient centered quality care to Coulee Medical Center patients and family members. This position possesses the requisite skills to work quickly and efficiently in at times a stressful environment while balancing and addressing patient concerns; acts as a patient advocate explaining procedures and relaying expectations while gathering pertinent information to assist the provider in determining care. Concurrently this position works as an advocate for quality and patient safety by thoroughly documenting the patient visit in a manner consistent with current standards of care.
Responsibilities
- Supports the patient care cycle by providing compassionate patient centered quality care to Coulee Medical Center patients and family members.
- Works quickly and efficiently in a stressful environment while balancing and addressing patient concerns.
- Acts as a patient advocate explaining procedures and relaying expectations while gathering pertinent information to assist the provider in determining care.
- Works as an advocate for quality and patient safety by thoroughly documenting the patient visit in a manner consistent with current standards of care.
- Keeps up-to-date on new developments in the field.
Requirements
- Current RN license required.
- American Heart Association (AHA) ACLS, NRP, BLS, & PALS/ENPC certification required, or must be obtained within one year of hire date.
Qualifications
This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Nursing from an accredited college or university. A minimum of two years of nursing experience is preferred.

The pay grade range for this position has been finalized for the facility according to an evaluation of the roles' duties and requirements. The selected candidate will be placed within the appropriate range based on job knowledge, skills, education, and experience.
