RN Coordinator - Full-Time - Night Shift

About the role

The RN Coordinator is a registered nurse who supports the Nurse Manager/Director and provides shift leadership in the Emergency Department 24/7, including weekends and holidays. This role offers structure and support to staff and healthcare professionals, ensures age-appropriate patient care, demonstrates critical thinking, manages resources for quality performance, and fosters positive employee relations.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and clinical duties, including coaching, mentoring, and leading a team.
• Participate in change initiatives and serve as a clinical expert during staffing needs.
• Assist with clinical coverage, staff development, and performance evaluations.
• Collaborate to facilitate patient throughput and manage patient care outcomes.
• Work with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality care and resource management.

Requirements

• Current RN license in Florida.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (MSN preferred).
• National nursing certification (must be obtained if not already held, as contracted).
• At least 2 years of clinical specialty experience.
• Strong leadership skills and ability to manage patient care outcomes.
• No vehicle operation required for work purposes.
