About the role
The RN Coordinator supports the Nurse Manager/Director in the Emergency Department, including weekends, holidays, and nights.
Responsibilities
- Offering clinical expertise
- Managing staff and resources
- Coaching and mentoring team members
- Ensuring delivery of age-appropriate patient care
- Participating in staff development
- Facilitating throughput
- Representing leadership when needed
- Supporting change initiatives
- Assisting with clinical coverage scheduling
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient care
Qualifications
- A current RN license in Florida
- A Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (MSN preferred)
- National nursing certification
- A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a specialty area
- Demonstrated leadership
- Strong patient care outcome management skills
