Role Overview The nurse practitioner independently and collaboratively treats and manages patients' health issues across various settings, including research, consultation, and advocacy for individuals and communities. Performs comprehensive assessments, diagnoses, and manages illnesses and diseases, contributing to quality patient care. Key Responsibilities Develops care plans within scope of practice using written protocolsUtilizes prescriptive authority, procedures, referrals, treatments, and theories in compliance with lawsEnhances nursing practice quality and effectivenessCollaborates with and supports the professional development of colleaguesEngages in lifelong learning and completes assigned goals Qualifications & Skills Minimum of 1 year clinical experience as a nurse practitioner in primary carePossession of a Master’s or Doctoral degree in nursingValid nurse practitioner licensure (NP)
