Nurse Practitioner - Hospitalist

What You'll Do

• Independently handles non-emergency nursing calls to facilitate patient care for non-teaching service patients.
• Performs H&P evaluations as needed and Discharge plan preparation for non-teaching service patients.
• Systematically and continuously assesses the physical, emotional, clinical, and psychosocial needs of assigned patients and families.
• Plans and implements appropriate interventions based on assessments.
• Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions and adjusts the plan as necessary in the provision of safe and effective care.

Requirements

• Current Missouri Advanced Practice Nurse licensure as a Nurse Practitioner according to MO State Board of Nursing.
• Current Missouri Registered Nurse license or current Registered Nurse license from a compact state. If a compact license is held, it must be in the nurse’s state of residence.
• May be required to work irregular hours.
