Role Overview The Nursing Director is responsible for developing, administering, and overseeing all nursing and patient care activities within their area. They collaborate with the nursing team to support organizational initiatives, standardize systems, improve efficiencies, and ensure financial oversight of nursing programs and services. Their role includes integrating performance improvement strategies, supporting strategic nursing initiatives, and fostering communication to achieve nursing goals while enhancing patient, physician, and employee satisfaction. They work with other hospital departments to operationalize nursing integration, service line development, and standardized practices. Key Responsibilities Lead the development and implementation of care delivery models to enhance quality, satisfaction, and efficiency.Ensure compliance with nursing practice acts, regulatory standards, and professional standards.Promote transparency, interdisciplinary collaboration, and accountability across teams.Improve nursing practice quality and service delivery effectiveness.Optimize resource allocation to support organizational objectives.Manage a multidisciplinary team providing competent, compassionate, and efficient care in a challenging environment. Qualifications & Skills Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience in an acute care setting.Bachelor's degree preferred; RN licensure is required.Knowledge of healthcare trends, legal compliance, managed care, and nursing operations.Strong collaboration and partnership development skills; specialty certification preferred.
