Responsibilities
- Lead from the front — mentor and develop your Assistant Nurse Manager and frontline team while serving as a visible, hands-on clinical leader
- Shape the culture — foster an environment grounded in psychological safety, accountability, and clinical excellence
- Drive operations — oversee staffing, workflows, and daily operations with a focus on quality, efficiency, and fiscal stewardship
- Champion quality & compliance — ensure adherence to Joint Commission, CARF, CMS, and National Patient Safety Goals while leading performance improvement initiatives
- Develop your team — coach, evaluate, and elevate RNs, LPNs, CNAs, and support staff, promoting growth and internal mobility
- Collaborate across disciplines — partner with physicians, therapists, case managers, and families to deliver seamless, patient-centered care
Requirements
- Graduate of a CCNE-accredited nursing program
- ASN required | BSN preferred
- 5–7 years of nursing experience in LTC, Skilled Nursing, or Rehabilitation
- At least 2 years in a leadership, charge, or supervisory role
- Active Maryland RN license
- BLS/CPR (American Heart Association)
- Strong clinical knowledge in geriatric, subacute, rehab, or memory care

Skills and Certifications
- Maryland RN License
- BLS through AHA
- 5 years of LTC experience at ANM or above
- Rehabilitation experience
