Lovelace UNM Rehabilitation Hospital provides state-of-the-art rehabilitation services for patients recovering from health conditions. It is the only rehabilitation hospital in the state accredited in six programs by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities.

Responsibilities

• Promote the mission and values of the organization and act as an active advocate for quality patient care, excellent customer service, and efficient healthcare delivery.
• Participate in system planning, budgeting, manpower planning, and program development to ensure efficient, effective, and quality patient care.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s in Nursing from an accredited school is required.
• If the applicant does not have a BSN, they must be enrolled in an accredited BSN program with a scheduled completion date (effective 9/1/19).
• Current RN license or a license deemed acceptable by the applicable State Board of Nursing.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3-5 years’ clinical nursing experience in area of specialty (preferred).
