Nurse Manager of Rehabilitation Services

Job Summary

The Manager ensures high quality, patient-centered care through oversight of the overall daily function and staffing of the unit/department. The Manager monitors and evaluates the provision of nursing care in accordance with established policies/procedures and holds staff accountable for quality and clinical outcomes in support of facility objectives.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date (RN)
• Registered Nurse licensed in the state of TX or compact license
• Bachelors Degree required, MSN preferred
• 1+ year of experience in an Inpatient Rehabilitation preferred. Will take Med Surg, PCU, Surgical Ortho or other acute areas of experience
• 1+ leadership experience required
• Advanced nurse certification preferred
• Strong accountability to the unit, patients and yourself
• Able to be respectful of your team, patients, families and our organization
• Strong time management abilities
• Strong communication - willing to have the difficult conversations
• Cultivate a strong team and get buy in from staff on the HCA way and ability to explain the why behind decisions
• Must have a strong presence within the unit
• Must be flexible with changes and have the ability to pivot when needed
