About the role
The Nurse Manager (RN) oversees all aspects of patient care and nursing operations within the Center for Rehabilitation at Wilmington Hospital. This role is responsible for ensuring high standards of care and managing a team of nurses.
Responsibilities
- Supervise all levels of personnel on the unit, including direct care staff and support staff.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and accreditation requirements.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures that promote quality patient care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to address patient needs and improve outcomes.
- Facilitate ongoing professional development for staff members.
- Oversee budgeting and resource allocation for the unit.
Requirements
- DE RN License or Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- Completed Master's degree in nursing or BSN with a Master's degree in healthcare or business management field
- Professional certification in a related nursing specialty required; Nurse Executive certification preferred
- Five years of appropriate clinical and leadership experience
- BLS required

Pay
The annual compensation range for this position is $121,180.80 - $193,897.60. The actual salary offered will be determined based on individual qualifications and experience.
Schedule
This position offers an 8, 9, or 10-hour shift option on a day shift basis.
