About the role
The Belmont Health & Rehabilitation is seeking a Rehabilitation Unit Manager to assist with planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, directing and managing the nursing services department under the direction of the Director of Nursing services.
To correct deficiencies, implement plans of action. Maintain open communication with nursing management regarding conditions on the nursing unit and concerns related to staff, residents and visitors. Assist with developing and implementing methods for coordinating nursing services with other resident services. Supervise/manage personnel on his/her unit.
Responsibilities
- Assist with planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, directing and managing the nursing services department under the direction of the Director of Nursing services.
- Implement plans of action to correct deficiencies.
- Maintain open communication with nursing management regarding conditions on the nursing unit and concerns related to staff, residents and visitors.
- Aid in developing and implementing methods for coordinating nursing services with other resident services.
- Supervise/manage personnel on his/her unit.
Requirements
- A graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing.
- Currently licensed by the State of Indiana as a RN or LPN.
- Experienced or trained in nursing services administration, rehabilitation or geriatric nursing.
