RN Nurse Manager - Psychiatric Medical Care Unit (PMCU)

Responsibilities

• Twenty-four hour responsibility to supervise, coordinate, and evaluate nursing care in the Behavioral Health unit, in accordance with the Registered Nurse Practice Act, Standard of Practice, and facility policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with the Program Director in the implementation of the philosophy and objectives for Behavioral Health.
• Supervise and coordinate all nursing activities to achieve and maintain efficient and competent nursing practices while promoting harmonious relationships among personnel supervised, medical staff, patients, and internal customers.
• Define and prioritize goals for self and subordinates.
• Evaluate performance of nursing personnel and nursing care, suggesting modifications as needed.
• Oversee the provision of patient care for adults and older adult patients.

Requirements

• Current and valid state license as a Registered Nurse.
• BLS certification upon hire and maintain current.
• A minimum of two years of supervisory/management experience.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), required for all hires after 1/11/2021.
• Current ACLS Provider Certification preferred.
• Five (5) years of Psychiatric Nursing experience.

Pay

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $45.00 to $60.75 per hour. The exact starting compensation will be determined at the time of hire, considering factors such as skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
