RN NICU Nights

About the Role

The RN provides direct patient care in the NICU Neonatal Care unit, utilizing evidence-based practices and a multidisciplinary team approach. The role involves prioritizing patient wellness, safety, and quality, while mentoring new staff and supporting a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care in the NICU and other Women & Infants care areas (Mother/Baby, Labor & Delivery).
• Adhere to standards set by professional organizations to ensure positive patient outcomes.
• Support clinical education and competency validation for new staff.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program or equivalent.
• Active RN licensure and relevant certifications.
• Minimum of 6 months Women & Infants RN experience or completion of a fellowship program.
• Current BLS certification from AHA or Red Cross, valid through sixty days of hire.
