RN Neuro Trauma ICU Fellowship - Night Shift

About the role

This RN position is based in the Neuro Trauma ICU, providing direct patient care in a complex, fast-paced environment. The role involves utilizing the nursing process, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and prioritizing evidence-based practice and patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, scope-of-practice care to critically ill patients.
• Support patient wellness and safety at the point of care.
• Mentor and precept new healthcare staff to foster clinical proficiency.
• Participate in a structured ICU orientation program, including simulation and competency validation.
• Adhere to evidence-based care models aligned with ICU standards and AACN guidelines.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program or approved by the state board if less than 3 years of experience.
• Current RN licensure in the state.
• Minimum of 6 months RN nursing experience.
• Valid BLS certification through recognized organizations, valid through sixty days post-hire.
