RN Fellowship Neuro Trauma ICU Nights

About the Role

Provides direct patient care in the Neuro Trauma ICU, utilizing evidence-based practices within a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, safe, and efficient care. Supports patient wellness, models proficiency through precepting, and contributes to a collaborative clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Performing comprehensive nursing assessments and interventions.
• Participating in specialty education and competency validation through a structured ICU orientation program.
• Applying evidence-based care models aligned with AACN's ECCO® and Synergy Model.
• Supporting safety, quality, and patient-centered outcomes at the point of care.
• Mentoring and precepting new healthcare staff and students.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program or approved by the state board.
• Current RN licensure and at least 6 months of nursing experience.
• Valid BLS certification through American Heart Association or Red Cross prior to start.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, innovative environment with strong clinical and communication skills.
