About the role
Provide expert nursing care in a technically complex ICU environment, utilizing the nursing process and evidence-based practices. Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal patient outcomes, prioritizing safety, wellness, and patient-centered care. Support and precept new healthcare staff, fostering a fast-paced, innovative clinical environment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in the Neuro Trauma ICU, adhering to specialty standards and evidence-based models.
- Assist in clinical education and competency validation through individualized training.
- Contribute to safety, quality, and secure care at the point of service.
Qualifications & Skills
- Graduate from an accredited nursing program with valid RN licensure.
- Minimum six months of ICU nursing experience or completion of a specialized fellowship.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications through the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and clinical skills, with a commitment to continuous learning.
