About the role

Mercy Hospital South is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Inpatient Medical/Surgical unit. New graduates and experienced RNs are welcome.

Schedule & Shift

• Part‑Time: 12 hours per week
• Shift: Days, 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM, 12‑hour shifts
• Self‑scheduling available
• Free on‑campus parking

Position Details

Registered Nurse (RN) – Neuro – Part Time (1x12 hour shifts per week)

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN, Diploma, or BSN)
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Missouri or compact state
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (or within 30 days of hire)

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Prior hospital or acute‑care nursing experience
• Specialty certifications

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and assist up to 50 pounds
• Prolonged standing and walking
• Ability to bend, reach, kneel, squat, and assist patients safely
