About the role
Registered Nurse in the Float Pool supporting multiple units within a healthcare system.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, evidence-based patient care across diverse departments.
- Perform assessments, diagnoses, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient needs.
- Administer medications and ensure safety protocols are followed.
- Educate patients and families about procedures, treatments, and recovery plans.
- Prioritize safety, verify patient identities, and maintain accurate documentation.
Qualifications & Skills
- Diploma from an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
- Active RN license (Single State or Compact).
- Required certifications: BLS, NRP; ACLS & PALS preferred.
- Minimum of 2+ years recent Mother/Baby nursing experience in a hospital setting.
- Fluent in English, collaborative, patient-focused, and able to manage pressure effectively.
- Ability to adapt quickly, think critically, and work well within a team to deliver exceptional patient care in a dynamic environment.
