About the Role

Registered Nurse in the Float Pool supporting multiple units to deliver exceptional patient care with compassion, clinical expertise, and adaptability.

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based, compassionate nursing care using assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
• Manage complex clinical situations with critical thinking and clinical judgment.
• Administer medications and perform safety checks diligently.
• Educate and empower patients and families about procedures, treatments, and recovery.
• Prioritize safety by verifying patient identities, following protocols, and documenting accurately.

Requirements

• Diploma from an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• Active RN license (Single State or Compact).
• BLS and NRP certifications required; ACLS & PALS preferred.
• Minimum of 2+ years recent Mother/Baby nursing experience in a hospital setting.
• Fluent in English; collaborative, patient-first approach.
• Strong time management skills and ability to work under pressure.
