About the role

Registered Nurse in the Float Pool supporting multiple units across the healthcare system.

Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, evidence-based patient care using the full nursing process.
• Administer medications, perform safety checks, and verify patient identities.
• Educate patients and families about procedures, treatments, and recovery plans.
• Manage complex clinical situations with strong judgment and critical thinking.
• Support diverse departments, gaining broad clinical experience.
• Prioritize safety, quality, and precise documentation.

Requirements

• Diploma from an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• Active RN license (Single State or Compact).
• BLS and NRP certifications required; ACLS & PALS preferred.
• Minimum of 2+ years recent Mother/Baby nursing experience in a hospital setting.

Skills

• Fluent in English (spoken & written).
• Collaborative, patient-centered approach.
• Ability to remain composed under pressure with excellent time management.
