About the role

The Registered Nurse (RN) position at Gss Nd Mandan Sunset provides comprehensive care to residents, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality, individualized care. Responsibilities include coordinating care, assessing residents, educating patients and implementing various nursing interventions.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to provide individualized care
• Collaborate with residents, families, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans
• Assess residents' health status and needs
• Educate residents and their families on maintaining health and managing conditions
• Coordinate care among interdisciplinary team members
• Delegate tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel as appropriate
• Ensure safe and reliable administration of resident care
• Resolve care and service concerns

Requirements

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program (preferred)
• Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license in the state where the practice of nursing is occurring or possesses multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
• Obtains and maintains required department-specific competencies and certifications

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program (preferred)
• Bachelor’s Degree in nursing preferred
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where the practice of nursing is occurring and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
• Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications

Pay

$32.50 - $48.00 per hour

Schedule

Full time, 12 hours per day, 36 weekly hours, rotating weekends and holidays

Department Details

This position works the hours of 6:00am - 6:30pm, including every third weekend and rotating holidays. It is a full-time, permanent position.
