About the Role
Provide comprehensive nursing care on a fast-paced 18-bed Medical-Surgical unit caring for adult patients with diverse needs, including orthopedic, surgical, cardiac, and complex medical conditions. Assist with bedside procedures, wound care, IV starts, NGTs, chest tubes, blood transfusions, and post-op care, gaining valuable clinical experience. Coordinate patient activities, ensure quality care, and collaborate with team members, including floating staff across hospital departments.
Responsibilities
- Deliver patient-centered nursing care from birth through the lifecycle.
- Follow organizational policies and maintain standards.
- Demonstrate professional growth.
Requirements
- Graduate of a nursing program (new graduates eligible).
- Current Georgia RN license or NLC/eNLC multistate license.
- BLS certification required.
Qualifications (Preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing.
- Hospital experience.
- Advanced certifications in specialty areas.
