About the role
The staff nurse provides comprehensive nursing care to patients across all age groups, utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care.
Responsibilities
They ensure adherence to organizational policies and procedures, maintain practice standards, and coordinate patient care activities of assigned staff to deliver quality care.
Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited nursing school
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- No experience required; new graduates eligible
- Hospital experience and one year of hospital work preferred
- Current Georgia RN license or multistate license required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Advanced certifications in specialty areas are a plus
