About the role
Our 18-bed unit provides a fast-paced environment caring for adult patients with diverse medical conditions, including orthopedic, surgical, cardiac, and complex cases.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient needs.
- Coordinate care activities and ensure adherence to organizational policies and standards.
- Perform clinical procedures such as IV starts, wound care, bedside procedures, NGT and chest tube management, and blood transfusions.
- Assist with post-op, central line, and colostomy care.
- Collaborate with team members, with opportunities to float across hospital units for broader clinical experience.
Requirements
- Graduate of a nursing program; new graduates eligible to apply.
- Current Registered Nurse license in Georgia or NLC/eNLC multistate license.
- BLS certification required.
Qualifications
Preferred: Bachelor’s degree, advanced certifications, and hospital experience.
