Role Overview
This position involves providing direct and indirect patient care in various clinical settings. The role requires effective communication and collaboration with physicians, leadership, and multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes. The nurse will deliver high-quality care through critical thinking, compassionate decision-making, respect, and empathy, while upholding patient autonomy, dignity, and rights.
Responsibilities
- Performing comprehensive assessments
- Administering prescribed medications
- Delivering age-appropriate care
- Developing and evaluating patient and family education plans
- Assisting with medical procedures
- Addressing psychosocial needs by liaising with social services
- Emphasizing cost-effective practices, patient safety, and prioritization of care
- Engaging in continuous professional development
Qualifications & Skills
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Computer literacy
- RN licensure and BLS certification within 14 days of hire
- Preferred certifications include ACLS/PALS
