About the role

Provides direct and indirect patient care in various healthcare settings, collaborating with physicians, leadership, and multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes. Utilizes critical thinking, nursing processes, and compassionate care to deliver high-quality services. Ensures patient autonomy, dignity, and rights are preserved while promoting health and safety.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients accurately based on their medical conditions.
• Administer prescribed medications and perform treatments appropriately for different ages and conditions.
• Develop and evaluate patient and family education plans, including psychosocial needs and discharge planning.
• Collaborate effectively with healthcare teams and assist physicians with procedures.
• Practice cost-effective resource usage and prioritize patient care efficiently.
• Promote patient safety by minimizing risks and ensuring quality care.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and lifelong learning.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Computer literacy required; additional certifications such as BLS, ACLS, or PALS preferred.
• Valid RN licensure and BLS certification within 14 days of hire required; other certifications preferred.
