RN - Med/Surg - Part Time - Weekends Only

Key Responsibilities

• Applying standards of nursing practice to enhance patient care and quality of life through evaluation and evidence-based interventions.
• Establishing relationships with patients and their families to develop personalized care plans.
• Utilizing the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient outcomes.
• Considering physical, cultural, social, economic, developmental, spiritual, and vocational factors in care strategies.
• Collaborating with interprofessional teams, advocating for patients, and communicating effectively to support holistic and ethical decision-making.
• Educating patients and families on health maintenance, restoration, and comfort measures.
• Mentoring colleagues and integrating evidence-based practices suited to patient needs.
• Performing point-of-care testing, maintaining safety, and performing other assigned duties.

Qualifications And Skills

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year RN experience.
• Current RN licensure in the state of practice or recognized compact license.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, and perform repetitive movements, and sensory acuity for visual, auditory, and olfactory tasks.
• Effective communication, clinical knowledge, teamwork, and a compassionate approach to patient care in a fast-paced environment.
