What You’ll Do

• Provide compassionate nursing care that respects each resident’s dignity, preferences, and individual needs.
• Perform nursing assessments, monitor residents’ conditions, and respond promptly to changes.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and established care plans.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care, observations, and resident responses.
• Communicate changes in condition and concerns to physicians, nursing leadership, and families as appropriate.
• Provide direction and support to LVNs and CNAs to promote coordinated care.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support resident goals and continuity of care.
• Assist with admissions, transfers, and other nursing needs during the shift.
• Follow infection-prevention practices and promote a safe, comfortable environment.
• Provide reassurance and support to residents and families.
• Deliver thorough shift reports to ensure a smooth transition between care teams.

What You’ll Bring

• A current, active California Registered Nurse license in good standing.
• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• A current CPR/BLS certification.
• Previous skilled nursing or long-term care experience preferred.
• Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills.
• Sound clinical judgment and the ability to prioritize resident needs.
• A dependable, team-oriented approach and a positive attitude.
• A passion for caring for others and making residents feel valued.
• Availability to work the NOC shift.

Lindsay Gardens Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our night shift team!

Pay Range: $40.00–$45.00+ per hour, based on experience.

Qualifications

Current, active California Registered Nurse license in good standing.
