About the role
Utilizes the nursing process to deliver patient care, ensuring accountability and evaluating the effectiveness of care provided by team members. Coordinates patient care with other departments while maintaining patient rights and confidentiality. Performs duties aligned with organizational mission, values, and standards.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care utilizing the nursing process.
- Evaluate care effectiveness and coordinate with other departments.
- Uphold patient rights and confidentiality.
- Maintain professional accountability and adhere to organizational standards.
Qualifications
- Education: Nursing degree (Associate's, Diploma, or BSN).
- Licensure: Current RN license in the applicable state or compact licensure, with ongoing compliance.
- Certifications: BLS required; additional certifications like ACLS, PALS, NRP, ENPC, TNCC, CPHON, OCN, PEARS, C-EFM, or other unit-specific credentials may be necessary.
- Physical ability: Lift 50 lbs, stand, walk, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat during shifts.
