Job Summary Provides direct and indirect patient care in various settings, collaborating with healthcare teams to improve patient outcomes. Utilizes critical thinking, nursing processes, and compassionate care to assess, plan, and deliver appropriate treatments while respecting patient rights and dignity. Performs general nursing duties, patient education, and prioritization of care. Demonstrates technical skills in assisting physicians and managing treatments, addressing psychosocial needs, and promoting safety. Committed to lifelong learning and cost-effective practices. Responsibilities Accurately assesses patients based on their medical condition.Administers medications as prescribed.Provides age-appropriate care, supporting basic self-care activities.Develops and evaluates patient and family teaching plans.Uses nursing knowledge to perform treatments and procedures.Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to ensure quality care.Assists physicians with procedures and performs technical services.Addresses psychosocial needs, coordinating with social services for discharge planning.Practices cost-efficient use of supplies and resources.Prioritizes patient care effectively to promote safety and well-being.Engages in ongoing professional development. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited nursing program.RN licensure and BLS certification within 14 days of hire.Computer literacy required; additional certifications like ACLS/PALS preferred.
