Job Summary

Provides direct and indirect patient care in the assigned setting. Collaborates with physicians, leadership, and multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes. Utilizes critical thinking, nursing processes, and compassionate care to restore health while respecting patient autonomy and dignity. Performs general nursing duties, patient education, and prioritization, along with other assigned tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assesses patients accurately based on their medical condition.
• Administers medications as prescribed, with knowledge of their effects.
• Provides age-appropriate care, including basic self-care activities.
• Develops and evaluates patient and family teaching plans.
• Utilizes nursing knowledge to perform treatments and services.
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive care.
• Assists physicians with procedures and performs technical skills.
• Addresses psychosocial needs and communicates with social services for discharge planning.
• Practices cost-effectively, minimizing waste of supplies and resources.
• Prioritizes patient care efficiently and promotes safety by reducing risks.
• Engages in lifelong learning to maintain nursing competence.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Computer literacy.
• RN licensure and BLS certification within 14 days of hire.
• Preferred: ACLS/PALS certifications.
